Over the weekend, our good friends Mike and Sheila were visiting from Boston with their kids. George was born the same year as Trent and Eva the same year as Hunter! So it was quite a houseful! We haven't met their kids yet because we haven't seen them in years and years. It was so good to finally see them all! All of the children got along really well and we all had such a great time! We took a trip to the Air and Space Annex near Dulles on Sunday. On Monday we wanted to go to Mount Vernon, but there were absolutely no parking spaces. Instead we stopped at one of the rest areas on the GW Parkway and had a picnic lunch on the Potomac and then went into Old Town Alexandria and wandered around there. We ate at this place called Chart House for dinner, which was really cool because Garrick and I have been trying to get in there to eat since we moved to the area. The food was amazing.
Look for more pictures at some point from this weekend. I confiscated Sheila's camera and was taking a million pictures in Old Town. Once she emails them to me I'll post them. I also have to apologize for not breaking this up into more paragraphs, but I'm too sleepy to do it now.
