Or in this case, wailing in the night. Last night I was feeling horrible and took a double dose of NyQuil. I was quite passed out when I was suddenly jarred awake by crying. Garrick is working his early shift this week, so I hauled myself out of my warm and cozy bed and walked down the hall to the kids room. I figured Hunter was crying because he has been doing that just about every night since mid-March and he is sick. In other words, I expected this anyway. When I got to the kids room I found the door already open and Trent running around in circles crying to me that Hunter was crying. He told me to take Hunter to my room. If I wasn't so drowsy and out of it from the NyQuil, the scene before me was almost comical.
I took Hunter into my bed prepared to sleep well the rest of the night. Hunter's diaper had other plans. I got up to go to the bathroom and came back to a diarrhea diaper. Hunter had to take a shower. Garrick went and slept somewhere else so I didn't have to change the sheets until morning. I'm very sleepy this morning.
